Rhiannon ~ A potent symbol of fertility, bringer of dreams, and a Moon deity, she is also the Goddess of the Otherworld, and Death. She is thought to be a Welsh version of Epona. Her stories are sad, yet beautiful at the same time

She is a goddess of change, movement, and magic. She comforts in time of crises, loss, and illness. She gives us gifts of tears, forgetfulness (to promote healing), and humor to ease our sufferings in this life and guides us to the next. Her qualities include strength, sexuality, fertility, and over coming doubt.

Oh I love the green finger and toenails! =D She looks good... I think maybe the lighting on her could be a little softer..not so bright like a spotlight, but this is a cool picture!

I agree with you and I was split on this one in many places. Traditionally she's wearing golden robes, so I substituted trying to highlight the hair and more lighting on her, I more wanted her personality to shine and contrast to the foggy background. I did render one with a haze around her to soften it and ended up going back to this lol, I hate deciding I totally suck at lighting still.

I stink at lighting...I trade in the more "realistic" look of my characters for the better lighting of Bryce...and then sometimes I throw away the lighting to keep the character... =D When I went to see this one and read the description, I cracked up (not at your description) because I had just submitted my gecko picture...Here yours was so eloquently given a nicely written history...and I tossed a man with a lizard attached to his tongue onto dA! HAHAA... Anyway...lighting has always plagued me... I would like to just create my art and have some technician come in and turn on the lights for me =D
