A tutorial for using a salt texture technique in watercolor.

Permission has been given to share outside of DA.

Not only is this a great technique for texture, this is a lot of fun to do with kids, covers science and art.

Thanks a bunch for making this tutorial! I've been trying this for a while. But can I use the regular salt, the kind that's used for cooking. I don't have the kind of salt you're using in here.

I've tried this like five times, but it won't work. :( It's a good tutorial tough :)

Do you have any tips on how to prevent the salt from sticking to the paper?
I don't knowhow much using rough-ground mineral salt has contributed to my problems, but I often have to rub it off with quite a lot of force.

Your welcome :) Salt is tricky even when you've done it before, it's really all about timing. Hope it helps :D
